Soyuz 36 was a Soviet Soyuz 7K-T spacecraft launched on May 26, 1980 for the Hungarian Intercosmos visiting mission to Salyut 6. It carried commander Valeriy Kubasov and Hungarian research cosmonaut Bertalan Farkas to the station, docked with Salyut 6 the following day, and remained at the complex while the visiting crew returned to Earth aboard Soyuz 35.
