Soyuz MS-01

Soyuz MS-01 was the first crewed spacecraft of the upgraded Soyuz MS series. Launched from Baikonur Site 1/5 on July 7, 2016, it carried Roscosmos commander Anatoli Ivanishin, NASA astronaut Kate Rubins, and JAXA astronaut Takuya Onishi to the International Space Station. The spacecraft followed a two-day rendezvous profile so its new systems could be checked in flight, docked with the station on July 9, and returned the same crew to Kazakhstan on October 30 after a 115-day mission.
