Soyuz MS-10 was a Roscosmos Soyuz MS spacecraft, MS No. 740, launched from Baikonur Site 1/5 on October 11, 2018 UTC with Aleksey Ovchinin and Nick Hague. A Soyuz-FG booster-separation anomaly triggered an ascent abort about two minutes after liftoff. The descent module performed a ballistic return and landed safely near Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan; both crew members were recovered in good condition.
