Soyuz MS-22 was a Roscosmos Soyuz MS crew spacecraft, MS No. 751, launched from Baikonur Site 31/6 on September 21, 2022. It carried commander Sergei Prokopyev, flight engineer Dmitri Petelin, and NASA flight engineer Frank Rubio to the International Space Station and docked with the Rassvet module the same day. After a December 2022 external coolant leak, NASA and Roscosmos determined the spacecraft was not viable for normal crew return; Soyuz MS-23 launched uncrewed as a replacement, and Soyuz MS-22 returned to Kazakhstan without a crew on March 28, 2023.
