Soyuz TM-34 was a Russian Soyuz TM spacecraft launched to the International Space Station on April 25, 2002. It carried the Marco Polo visiting crew of Yuri Gidzenko, Roberto Vittori, and Mark Shuttleworth from Baikonur, docked with the ISS on April 27, and replaced Soyuz TM-33 as the station's docked rescue spacecraft. The visiting crew returned on Soyuz TM-33 in May 2002, while Soyuz TM-34 remained at the station until a later crew brought it home in November.
