Soyuz TMA-1 was the first spacecraft of the Soyuz TMA series. It launched the Odissea visiting crew to the International Space Station in October 2002, remained docked as the station lifeboat, and returned the Expedition 6 crew in May 2003 after the Columbia accident changed station crew rotation plans.
