Soyuz TMA-12 was a Russian Soyuz TMA spacecraft launched from Baikonur on April 8, 2008 with Sergei Volkov, Oleg Kononenko, and South Korean spaceflight participant Yi So-yeon. It delivered the Expedition 17 core crew to the International Space Station and remained docked until October 24, 2008, when Volkov, Kononenko, and Richard Garriott returned to Earth aboard the spacecraft.
