It launched from Baikonur on October 12, 2008 with Yury Lonchakov, Michael Fincke, and spaceflight participant Richard Garriott, docked with the ISS on October 14, and supported Expedition 18. Garriott returned earlier on Soyuz TMA-12, while Soyuz TMA-13 landed on April 8, 2009 with Lonchakov, Fincke, and Charles Simonyi.
