Soyuz TMA-4 was a Russian Soyuz TMA spacecraft flown to the International Space Station in 2004. It launched from Baikonur on April 19, 2004 with Gennady Padalka, Michael Fincke, and ESA astronaut Andre Kuipers, docked with the ISS on April 21, and served as the Expedition 9 return spacecraft. Kuipers returned earlier on Soyuz TMA-3, while Soyuz TMA-4 landed on October 24, 2004 UTC with Padalka, Fincke, and Yuri Shargin.
