SPARTA-Redstone for WRESAT-1
This spare SPARTA-Redstone research vehicle was donated by the United States and adapted to launch WRESAT-1 from Woomera on 29 November 1967. The launch successfully placed Australia's first satellite into orbit, making Australia one of the earliest nations to build and launch its own satellite.
