Spirit
Spirit was NASA's MER-A Mars Exploration Rover. Launched on June 10, 2003, it landed in Gusev Crater on January 4, 2004 UTC and operated for more than six years, finding strong evidence that ancient Mars was wetter. Spirit last communicated on March 22, 2010; NASA ended recovery attempts and declared the mission complete on May 25, 2011.
