Tupolev Tu-160 70-01 prototype
Aircraft 70-01 was the first Tu-160 development aircraft and made the type's first flight from the Tupolev flight-test programme on 18 December 1981. Its flight testing established the variable-sweep supersonic family that later entered production and modernization.
