XPoSat

XPoSat is India’s first dedicated X-ray polarimetry spacecraft, launched on 1 January 2024 to study the polarization, spectroscopy, and timing of bright cosmic X-ray sources. Its POLIX and XSPECT payloads provide complementary medium-energy polarimetry and soft-X-ray spectroscopy/timing observations.
